Named after the Greek island and home to Cornell University and other schools, Ithaca is a thriving college town located in the majestic Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. Waterfalls, lakes, and forests abound, yet there is no lack of music, food, drink and activities. The city also has several cultural and intellectual offerings, including art exhibits and lectures, in fact, Utne Reader named Ithaca one of the "Most Enlightened Cities" in the United States. The campus itself is warm and inviting with lots of open area for the students to gather to study, socialize and bask in the sun.
If you haven’t been to our new space, please give yourself extra time to get here. Street and garage parking are free on weekends and there is ample metered parking close to the school (see map for free street parking areas during the week). If you use street parking, enter the Rothschild building, located on the east side of the Commons (between Sammy’s Pizza and the Finger Lakes Running and Triathlon Co.). If you use the Green Street parking garage, there is a direct entrance into our building on the east side of the garage (the side closest to the Commons) on the second level. You will see a small sign by the door that says Miller Mayer and The Finger Lakes School of Massage. Once inside the building, take the elevator to the second floor and follow the signs to the school. See you soon!
The Mount Kisco campus of FLSM is located at the threshold between New York City, New England and the breathtaking Hudson Valley. Voted "Best Family Town" in Westchester by InTown Magazine, Mount Kisco is a diverse community with a small-town feel. Only 20-40 minutes away from a hike in Fahnestock State Park, the cultural treasures of Manhattan's world-class museums or leaf-peeping in Connecticut.
