Not only are our graduates doing amazing things—so are our students! Andrew Steigmeier, a Finger Lakes School of Massage student at our Mount Kisco campus, was awarded a $1000 grant for his 200 word essay on “What being a successful massage therapist means to me.”
The grant was awarded as part of the annual Successful Hands Grant Program, a collaborative effort between Biofreeze®, Massage Envy® and Bon Vital’®.
The program supports students attending massage therapy school to assist them with their “educational pursuits.” Andy was awarded one of only eight awards being given out this year.
“As evidenced by the quality of the submissions we received, our future is in the hands of very passionate and talented individuals. Once again, it was truly a privilege to invest in these students’ futures through this collaborative grant program with Massage Envy,” Lynda Solien-Wolfe, Vice President Massage and Spa, Performance Health stated in the official press release.
We have to agree with the VP! The future is bright for FLSM students! Congrats, Andy!
